Bridal Portraits

What is the purpose of a bridal session and is it right for me? Bridal sessions started as a classically southern tradition but they have become a staple in the world of wedding sessions. Bridal portraits are just another "test drive" opportunity for several of your vendors and yourself. On the day of your wedding you may choose to use vendors for hair, make up and florals. It also might be the very first time you get to really wear your dress. Bridal sessions allow you to see your wedding day look and make sure its what you envisioned and leave you feeling comfortable and at ease.

Bridal session run about an hour to an hour and a half and central Virginia has so absolutely stunning locations. Some of my favorites are Glass Hill, Waverly Estates, Glenn Cliff Manor and Old City Cemetery (trust me it's gorgeous not spooky).

Typically bridals happen a month or two before your big day and on the day that you do your trial hair and make. It just makes sense to dress you up and show you off when you're already done up! Also this session seamless flows into boudior sessions, which are so empowering and can be used as an intimate wedding day gift for your Fiance. Reach out for more info and examples of boudiors.
